At Equity Change Lab, we want to see individuals, especially leaders, managers and those in positions of authority step up, step out of their comfort zones and become the inspirational leaders they may not even know they can be. As we grow and develop into our roles at work, we can take pride in what we've achieved, and there's always room for us to grow!
With a wealth of experience in the corporate sphere, as well as with several international charities you'll find that our team can relate more to your issues than you might think. Our holistic approach takes more than just your work practices into account, too – we'll also look at your personality, personal life, and the impact of work on the wider world. We'll examine the intersection of your “work self” and “home self,” and the ripple effect between the two - sustainable and regenerative change only happens when you take a systemic approach. Considering all this, we'll come up with a plan to realise your potential and that of your team, enabling you to make more of yourselves as a unit, impacting your organisation (and often society at large) in a positive way.
Change happens little by little, step by step. The first is noticing that something needs to change. Whether that be to build on your existing success, fix a problem or release latent potential, we'll design a bespoke solution together

Leadership Development
What does leadership mean? Everyone can rattle off the standard answers – “being in control,” “taking decisive action,” “being in charge of a team.” A more apt question might be “what does leadership mean to you?” When it comes down to it, the definition of leadership can vary dramatically from one person to the next. Everyone's organisation, management structure and approach to the role involves something different so, naturally, leadership will mean different things to different people.
What Equity Change Lab does is bring a holistic, hybrid approach to leadership development. We'll take your strengths and weaknesses into account as we develop a bespoke plan to help you build the skills you'll need to lead effectively. We'll meet you with warmth and understanding but we'll also challenge you! We can, all too easily, get stuck in our comfort zones, ignoring necessary changes in style and operation in our organisations. With Equity Change Lab, you'll find that balance between a room full of puppets saying “yes, yes, yes!” and having no control whatsoever. Team Dynamics
The “team dynamic” is more than just the group of people who you work with day by day. It's who they are and how they like to operate. It's their preferences, the little moments shared between meetings. It's the way that they work together, the energies they bring, the hidden entanglements and loyalties – for the good of the company and for each other.
This is a somewhat idealised take on team dynamics, of course. With differences in temperament, personality and leadership styles, there are bound to be clashes. What is, ostensibly, a normal and innocuous email from one person may be taken in an entirely different way by the recipient. There are always hidden dynamics at play that aren't obvious.
What Equity Change Lab brings to this equation is understanding. With a wealth of experience to draw from, across most industries, we can help create an understanding of the differences in culture, experience and personality that are at play in the workplace. We'll develop individual self-awareness and an understanding of the hidden dynamics that many might not have considered, all in pursuit of a more inclusive, supportive working environment and a stronger, more capable team to boot.

The culture of any organisation, put simply, is how it “feels.” It has sway over so much more than how people get along in the office. A business' culture informs how people approach problems. It informs how we mediate disagreements and celebrate success. It informs every part of what we do together as a team. Equity Change Lab brings a systemic approach to cultural change, working our way through the constellation of different data points that makes up your organisation. Pragmatically, we'll work through the issues you're facing in your business' culture. Most importantly, we'll help you identify blind spots you don't yet know about and create a plan to bring about the change you want to see. This is change that rewrites the rulebook on how we treat each other at work, encourages collaboration and promotes the openness that any business needs in order to thrive. Equity Opener
You already know that you want to create an inclusive environment and to have equity as your norm. You may have already experienced the Equity Opener or have created your own assessment and plan for change.
If so then Leadership Excellence is the leadership programme for you. It is designed for intact teams who will partner with us to design a bespoke approach to sustainable change. Working with our expertise in this field and your know-how about your organisation and industry, together we deliver outstanding results that can be felt in your organisation.
You will come away with a clear strategy for culture change and a series of interventions to maximise your organisations equity.
Do you want to support those who are real role models for change in your organisation and support others around them to thrive? Those who act as true allyship change agents and who, with support, will be even more impactful and help you to create a culture where your people feel heard and engage
Allyship Space is aimed at creating confidence around holding conversations about creating the conditions for people develop to their full potential. We’ll develop approaches in partnership with your organisation and allyship champions. Participants will practice these approaches in a psychologically safe facilitated space. They will use these approaches in their live working environments and then return to Allyship Space to explore and share successes and opportunities for improvement.
Your teams will have the support and guidance they need to explore opportunities for improvement ., increasing engagement, participation and retention
Want to know where you stand and what you can do to be the best employer you can be?
The Equity Opener is a way of assessing your current reality, your readiness to make change that lasts and what is needed to turn the dial on equity and inclusion. As part of the Equity Opener, we help you to carry out a diagnostic review of your organisation’s strengths and opportunities to enhance equity. We will help you with tried and tested tools and techniques to surface the issues that are holding you back from being the best employer you can be. These include focus group conversations and questionnaires to benchmark yourself against known quality standards.
You will come away with greater clarity on your opportunity areas, having explored recommended approaches to change and a motivation to make a sustainable change.
Inclusive Voices
Do you want to understand your impact on gender equality , neuro diversity and positive inclusion ? Are you ready to create change within yourself?
Inclusive Voices are large groups (50+) conversations and events where we get to explore topics that affect the speed of change when it comes to creating inclusion in the workplace. We focus on thought leadership in the area as well as known challenges or new practices and solutions. Topics include the silent drain of talent, the impact of everyday sexism , how to find opportunities to create allyship in organisations to be more inclusive and how to create neurospicy environments . Join your voice to the groups and be part of the solution and at the same time learn together.
You will come away from this event with a set of personal actions to increase your effectiveness in work and life.
